- Development of a modern automotive braking system simulation using JAVA 1.4(J2SE) considering all the actions and sub-systems in the automotive braking systems.
- The system's features include Taguchi Methods for analysis, FMVSS checks, and standard models as guidelines for design.
- Prediction of the brake pivot center of pedal linkage assembly for General Motors medium duty truck (GMT540) with Isuzu low cab tilt forward using Kinematic analysis and Taguchi Methods for product parameter design.
- Use of Product Parameter Design methods for improvement of braking performance of the GMT-540 truck.

- Detailed Engineering- Developed specifications for Rice Processing Machines and bought out equipments.
- Developed plant layouts, aspiration ducting drawings. Sizing of material handling equipment such as chain conveyors, bucket elevators and screw conveyors.
- Responsible for vendor selection for bought out equipment and sub-contractors for on-site work. Developed project schedule and budget.

Fletcher Pioneer is now a part of RMC group of UK. It was taken over by Hanson PLC during my time.

- Project Management - Involved in vendor development, project financials, plant layouts and resources estimation for two Ready-Mix Concrete plants in India.
- Developed two Capital Expenditure Proposals for business expansion.
- Involved in re-engineering of existing business processes like bulk material handling system, fueling stations in particular. Initiated system improvement tools to improve productivity of plants and reduce operating costs.
- Operations - Assisted the operations team on preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery like concrete Mixer, cement handling system and Concrete Pumps. Scheduled jobs and inspection at sites.

Briggs of Burton (India) private Limited, Bangalore, India

Projects: Involved in about 8 projects which included turnkey, Retrofits and annual maintenance projects.

Baron Breweries, India- Complete Greenfield Turnkey Project (worth Indian Rupees 140 Million)
- Completed PFD, P& ID, and initial designs for brewhouse, unitanks, and filtration plant.
- Developed specifications of utilities like water treatment, boiler, air-compressor and refrigeration plants.
- Completed all G.A drawings of the process equipment, plant layouts, piping drawings. Finalized calculations of process equipment and utilities.
- Completed the project schedule, vendor selection and estimation and initiated project controls.

Mangalore Breweries, India- 165 HL brewhouse with dry goods handling section (Worth Indian Rupees 18 Million)
- Successfully erected, installed and commissioned the brewhouse which included stainless steel vessels, material handling equipment and other process control instruments.
- Successfully completed testing of pressure vessels and steam jackets, process and utility piping erection.
- Worked on Siemens S7 PLC.
- Trained plant personnel and responsible for handover. Handled the post-handover phase of the project.

Maharashtra Distilleries Limited, India
- Executed the annual maintenance contract and plant audit of malt spirit plant involving major modifications of bulk material handling equipment.
- Responsible for the change of the plant control system from Siemens Micro-10 PLC to S5.

- Chess - My rating on Yahoo chess is reasonable (average of 1550). Highest ever was 1646. Currently at 1572 and 1602 on two IDs.
- Music - Varied taste from classic rock to hindustani classical. Everyone has some favorites. My favorites would be Buddy Guy (Blues), Jethro Tull, Dire Straits (Mark Knopfler is even better), Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani.
- Cricket - Used to play cricket at college level, but no longer do I play.
- Cooking - I like cooking and find it very innovative. At the moment, I can only cook Indian dishes, but plan on starting some Italian dishes as well.

Extra-curricular Activities
- Organizer at Diwali 2002 night, the biggest event on our Missouri S&T campus.Was a member of the cooking squad.
- Organized a cricket tournament at Campus.
